In October last year, my photography club once again joined the annual Scott Kelby Worldwide Photwalk. It was our third year in a row to lead one of the walks, and this time we decided to hold it outside of Cebu City.
We went to Toledo City, about a couple of hours south of the main city, with the goal of sharing the story of their day-to-day living through pictures. Though I have often passed through Toledo City before to take the ferry that crosses to the province of Negros, it was my first time to explore the city.
When it comes to photowalks, I consider myself a veteran. But I was so used to organizing and leading large groups that I forgot what it’s like to actually enjoy the walk instead of worrying about the safety of the others. During this walk however, there were only seven of us so I was able to enjoy myself.
